Thank you for your interest in Property Locator opportunity with our company.
We are a family Real Estate business located in Reisterstown, MD. We buy houses that need repairs, and after repairs are completed we either resell the property or hold it for long-term. Were always looking to get more leads from different sources. Right now we would like work with 2 or 3 Property Locators who will bring us leads on a constant basis. Please note that Property Locators are not companys employees and thus arent covered by Group Health and Disability Insurance plan and do not qualify for Workers Compensation; Property Locator is an independent contractor who is compensated based on how many houses we are able to purchase from his/her leads.
In the nutshell, Property Locators job is to a) spot a vacant or abandoned house or apartment building, b) take a digital picture, c) write down the address and d) forward this and any other helpful info to us. We will do our best to locate the owner of the property (not every owner wants to be found) and contact them inquiring about their neglected property. If we buy a house from the lead that Property Locator brought, we will compensate him/her within one week after the closing; current compensation schedule starts with $500 for the first purchased house and then gradually increases to $2,000 after we purchase 15 houses from provided leads (please see below).
1-3 - $500 per house
4-6 - $750
7-10 - $1000
11-15 - $1500
15 and more houses - $2,000 per purchased house.
An easy way to find a vacant house is to pay attention to mail that is piling up by the house, overgrown bushes, trees and grass, and overall look of the property. Its a good idea to write down the phone number on FSBO (for sale by owner) sign if the house has been on the market for some time we might be interested in speaking with the seller .Were currently working on Property Locators handbook and well send it to you as soon as its completed.

We would want to know what area you would like to concentrate on. Baltimore City has thousands of vacant properties, but we arent buying in City unless its a 3+ unit building. Other than that you can work in any area around Baltimore, but please let us know as we want to make sure that other Property Locators arent working the same area.
Also, we are going to need you to review and sign a one page agreement that outlines yours and ours responsibilities. So please email when youre ready to start and well email an agreement for your review.
